This collage was created in 2020, but it has never been more relevant. Today, I am in New York, and I experienced this historic and tragic moment surrounded by New Yorkers. During that evening when everything was decided, in an absurdity that still astounds me, our hosts confided in each other: even if deep down, they knew, they still had hope and did not think that it would be so catastrophic. This is why I am sharing this collage with you again, born from my gut during the last elections, but which takes on its full meaning today… unfortunately.
